 CESA 5 Youth Projects Office is located in Stevens Point, WI and provides many activities related to career preparation. The program provides a variety of opportunities for employment and training for low income youth ages 14-21, including tutoring, career awareness, employment and life skills.

The Wisconsin Conservation Corps (WCC) is a state agency that employs young adults who are interested in finding a new career opportunity.  WCC crew members build trails, improve parks, plant trees and complete light construction projects.  As a crew member, you will work 40 hours per week, learn many new skills, and have experiences that will reward you for a lifetime. In addition to your paycheck, after one year you will earn a $7,325 tuition scholarship.  You will also receive help planning your career and exploring different occupations. If you are a Wisconsin resident, 18 to 25 years old, unemployed or working less than 16 hours per week, you can join the Wisconsin Conservation Corps!

Child Care Resource & Referral, Inc. is a nonprofit agency serving Calumet, Outagamie and Waupaca counties.  Child Care Resource & Referral provides comprehensive child care services to increase community awareness and to enhance the quality and availability of child care including: 1) Parent Referrals to regulated child care programs, 2) Family Child Care and Group Center: Business start-up, technical assistance, workshops, in-services, resource center, 3) Child Care Job Line: Voice mailbox advertising child care careers, 4) Room to Grow: Enhancing early childhood environments, 5) Helping Hands: Early childhood substitute teacher program, 6) Employer Assistance: Addressing work/life issues, 7) Catch the Spirit of Inclusion, Special needs services.

CAP has been on the front-line of the war on poverty since 1966. As a private non-profit corporation, CAP offers this programs in Outagamie, Portage, Waupaca, and Waushara Counties.

CAP Services' Skills Enhancement Program provides employment and training assistance for income eligible adults working at least 20 hours a week.
